A long time ago in a …

I suppose you know the rest.

Currently semi busy with updating the Answers Family code base, adding features et cetera. Also I am contemplating writing a similar system for myself. Maybe I can squeeze some earlier ideas in there? We’ll see, eventually!

On a different note: Chapel was so nice as to provide a Linkinus Script that can forward calls to non AppleScript based scripts including parameters. See for yourself! If you want to have a working build including a sample slap.php script (basically slap.scpt done in PHP) look no further than here.

Ideas and no time :|

Currently considering a number of ideas for website layouts … none of which I have the time to work on right now (yeah, poor me!). Called them Stacks and Squeezebox … maybe I can get templates/mockups up and running sometime soon(tm). Other than that … maybe I should add this blog to my Travian.com forum profile? It’s likely to heavily gain traffic that way I bet.

Anyway, I wonder when I’ll have finally time to work on getting to know Zend Framework … which I should’ve started 2 (3?) weeks back ago but bugs and features for other projects kept on intruding. Maybe next week … or maybe not.

jQuery application/xhtml+xml error

As I noticed earlier this evening when switching output of a project from text/html to application/xhtml+xml jQuery stops working. After testing on a number of different browsers I noticed the following error:

TypeError: Result of expression ‘div.style’ [null] is not an object (Line 825 in the development version of jQuery 1.4.1)

To see for yourself try this failing tablesorter.

Oh well, let’s see what the folks at jQuery Forums have to say about it…

Update (12.02.10): The error lies in the originally embedded xml stylesheet as described in the w3 xhtml faq. Removing it will remove the error as well.

me!

So, I finally have a blog and no idea what to say :D

Anyway, I suppose I’ll prod Nicholas @ Conceited Software to change the About side to feature this blog instead of a simple e-mail address.
